1. How do I make a booking?
Bookings can be made directly on our website at www.ggguesthouse.co.za. Simply choose your room type, select your dates, and complete payment securely using our checkout.
2. What types of rooms do you offer?
We offer the following room types:
- Family Room (up to 3 guests: adults + children) 1 to a maximum of 2 adults
- Executive Room (up to 2 guests) 1 to a maximum of 2 adults
- Standard Room (up to 2 guests) 1 to a maximum of 2 adults
- Self Catering Room (up to 2 guests) 1 to a maximum of 2 adults
- Travellers Room (1 adult only)
Each room includes a summary of features and pricing on our website.
3. Can I bring children?
Yes, children are welcome in the Family, Standard, Executive, and Self Catering rooms. Children are not allowed in the Travellers rooms. Children are charged at 50% of the room price.
4. How do I pay for my booking?
You can pay securely online using your debit/credit card or EFT. Full payment is required to confirm your booking.
5. What is your cancellation and refund policy?
- Cancel more than 7 days before check-in: 80% refund
- Cancel 3–7 days before check-in: 50% refund
- Cancel less than 3 days before check-in: No refund
- No-shows and short stay bookings are non-refundable
All cancellations must be emailed to bookings@ggguesthouse.co.za.
6. What time is check-in and check-out?
- Check-in: From 2:00 PM
- Check-out: By 11:00 AM
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur extra fees.
7. Is breakfast included?
Self catering rooms offer self catering. Ordering in is also an option.
8. Is there secure parking?
Yes, secure parking is available for all guests at no extra charge.
9. Can I book multiple rooms/ dates at once?
Yes, you can book more than one room, subject to availability. Each room will need to meet its individual guest limit.
If you would like to make multiple bookings:
After selecting your first date and adding it to the cart, click the "Add More" button in the cart if you are booking the same room type for the same dates (e.g., another Standard Room on the same day).
If you would like to make multiple date bookings:
After selecting your first date and adding it to the cart, change the date, by clicking the different date you are adding onto the calender, then click the "Add More" button, it will add the different date picked to the cart for the same room type, it will automatically be added to your cart and combined with the existing bookings ready for one easy checkout.
If you want to book a different room type, go back to the booking section, select the desired room, and complete the steps — it will automatically be added to your cart and combined with the existing booking ready for one easy checkout.
This allows you to build a custom booking with multiple room types or dates in one order.
